| REGISTRATION AGREEMENT |
GENERAL RULES
By registering to the DEFLEPPARD.com forum, you agree that you
will not submit messages that:
- infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, trade secret
or other proprietary rights or rights of publicity or privacy. You
will only submit messages of which you are the rightful owner, or
you have first obtained permission to submit the material from the
rightful owner;
- the moderators consider to be disruptive, unlawful, harmful,
threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene,
hateful, racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, or in
violation of ANY law;
- impersonate or claim the identity of any other person or entity;
- are for commercial purposes or are intended to solicit a person to
buy any goods, including spam, auctions, requests for charity (inc.
donations), chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any other form of
solicitation;
- contain links or instructions to access illegal material, such as
MP3s or (MP3-)filesharing systems, including requests for such material;
- are posted with the main purpose of getting a negative reaction
("trolling");
- contain personal attacks or insults to any other member of the
forum;
SPECIFIC DEF LEPPARD GUIDELINES
Although it is allowed to discuss and criticize the band, it is NOT
allowed to "bash". There is a subtle difference between saying
"Def Leppard used to be better" and saying "Def Leppard
completely SUCKS nowadays". If you come here to let everybody
know how much you hate Def Leppard, don't bother. Of course, this
also counts for other topics: please discuss in a mature way.
There are five subjects that have proven to be the source of
trouble and flame wars on previous versions of the DEFLEPPARD.com
forum: politics, religion, the band members' private lives,
"(Def Leppard with) Steve versus (Def Leppard with) Vivian", and
lusting. Please do not start or join threads about these topics. They
WILL be removed.
While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt
to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly
as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you
acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views
and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators
or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not
be held liable.
Breaking any of the rules above may lead to you being immediately
and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed).
The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these
conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and
moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or
close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you
agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a
database. While this information will not be disclosed to any
third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and
moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that
