As some of you may have noticed, the message board has been very slow at times lately, resulting in double posts, slow response times and sometimes even blank pages. We're not entirely sure what the cause of the problem is, but we have a suspicion that the SEARCH function has something to do with it (someone doing an extensive search on the site may cause such a stress on the database, that it will make everything else go slower).

We have disabled the search function for now, to see if this is actually the cause of the problem and to see if it improves things.
