Because we only have a small window between the moment when all ticket presales are over, and when the tour is starting (and we really don't want to make the board unavailable for a few days during presales or tour time), we'll push back the launch of the new board until AFTER the tour is done.

Yes, that takes a little longer, but that will also give us some more time to test and tweak things.

For the record, I think you guys have done an outstanding job on maintaining this site. Sure there have been a few bugs here and there, but nothing that wasn't handled in a timely manner. Kudos to you! Smile

Since the tour has been cancelled, are things staying the same for when the new message board comes around? I was wondering if the new board would around sooner since you wouldn't have to worry about presales, etc.

Well, yeah, we're gonna have to change the schedule a bit..... We'll take things slow, but at least we won't have a tour to wait for first. More soon!

With the band's downtime right now, it gives us a little more room to not rush things. We'll pick this up again soon, and we hope to have things done in January. However, no promises, as we also have some other online departments that need to be restructured. We'll keep you posted, hopefully we'll have some more concrete info next week.

Just a quick update to let you know what the launch of the new messabe board will be a little later than originally planned. We're currently working on some other things for the site that takes most of our attention, and these things are a little more important/urgent/interesting/exciting than a new look for the message board.

Not to worry, it will probably get delayed a half dozen times or so before it officially gets canned.
