Oh cool a few weeks early though. I hope to hear something outside what answers and questions usually thrown out. Smile
I would have guessed something from JACK FM because one of my friends heard an ton of songs being played back to back on a Friday several weeks ago and I've heard them too they play a lof of 80's music. I'm getting used to that station.
I thought KQ92 had like 70's classic rock because whenever I turn it to that station it's the older stuff ha ha. Embarassed

I'll be so happy if it's clear with no sub zero temps in sight. Wink We're suppose to get around 64 on Monday and it only reached 40 today and rained! Surprised

For the Omaha folks how far is the drive from here to there?

3 weeks! Very Happy

Mapquest shows its a 5 hr. 45 min. drive but it always over-estimates. So I'm guessing its closer to 4 hr 45 min or 5 hr. If the weather is bad, we can just follow the tour buses...they'll clear the path for us. Wink

This news is sad of course it's been so long for us, but I'm concerned for the band seeing as it's a whole leg off I hope everyone is okay and we get details soon. Surprised Sad There will be a next time as Joe says. They'll get a longer break which is good they deserve it. Let's keep them in our thoughts.

The good news...

I'm almost broke for the month so now I can go get my ticket money back and not spend the $30-$50 I planned on spending if I saw good merch plus cab fare home.

I won't be almost broke for November either then.

Nobody has to drive and withstand the cold and crappy and sometimes dangerous winter weather.

Good things can come from something bad for some people right?

I had a chance to meet DL at the Mall Of America July 26, 2002.
I just walked by the autograph line because I didn't know who they were at the time. Sad

This BITES.

I wonder if we will ever really know the reason. I sure hope it's not a $ thing, then I will actually be pissed along with being dissappointed.

I am just glad all my 5* $'s will be refunded and didn't lose out on any travel costs... But those poor bastards that pre-paid for a hotel, maybe some plane tickets, and got tickets through a broker or Ebay that can't get a refund...ouch!

I too hope there's more to this than just money. Not that I hope any one of them is sick or anything, but for it to just be about money (although it may be a lot of money) woule be really disappointing.

I hope the band and their families are okay. I too feel bad for folks who pre-paid and are losing money on hotels and flights. I learned from the misfortune of the Birmingham and Nashville folks on the 2nd leg of the tour. I made sure that I could cancel my reservations up to the day of check in and not get charged. I wasn't taking any chances, just in case. Oh well, maybe next year...

I was happy to leave the Xcel box office with my ticket refund today because I was almost broke for the month. I go shopping and by the time I go to my last store my card was denied and the money wasn't in there! Mad
I didn't get to take home anything for dinner, so I had to cook and I also wanted some drinks to go with it. Sad
I left my card at the ATM and it's one of those that keep your card in it until your transaction is complete. I only went to check if the money really wasn't in there! Sad Embarassed I'm mad at myself for leaving it and I have to wait until Monday to apply for a new one. At least whomever gets it will have no money to spend on it. I'm happy it's not a credit card either.

Sorry to hear about your ATM loss - I've done that too!!
I'm so bummed about the cancellation - I had 3rd row by the thrust & i haven't gotten my money back yet! I had 2nd row next to the thrust at TInley Park, IL & I played w/ Phils leg up & down while he was playing right is front of us!! OHHHHHHH!!!
Plus, touched all of them on the hands at the end of the show! That was cool!!
So, sorry won't be able to meet anyone or see them.....maybe next time.....LET"S HOPE!!!!

"Heartbeat" - Jobriath.........Love it......JOE!!!!!
