People who think it's just so funny to be drunk and obnoxious, and those who exaggerate just how drunk they are There's plenty of it in college...I had to kick one of my friends out of my room last night after he came back from a party, and played up the fact that he "sooo drunk," while the rest of us were sober and were watching a movie...then basically brags this morning about how much he drank. Ugh, between him and my pain-in-the-ass roommate, I'm going to pull my hair out!

This one guy in my class really annoys me. Maybe because he's rich or maybe because of his religious beliefs, but sometimes he acts like he's way better than the rest of us. For example, in our religion class today:
Teacher: "seriously? You wouldn't be able to marry someone if they made more money than you did?
The Guy: "Yeah, I wouldn't be able to stand it."

What a jerk. The guys in my class are really starting to annoy me a lot, save for 2 who keep me sane in some classes. Same thing goes for the girls. They're getting pretty catty. I just love high school.

I need to rant about the ballet performance I attended tonight. Or, rather, it's about the theater-goers around here.

The performance i went to was "Sleeping Beauty" and was put on by one of the local ballet schools in conjunction with a semi-pro dance company. It was an OK performance - hardly the best I've been to. Choreography-wise was...well....not much variety. The dancing was pretty good, though. Don't know whether it was because i hadn't been to the ballet for ages or what but, on the whole, it seemed a tad too long and a bit boring. I cannot recollect when i last saw a professional ballet performance, but I think it may have been about 10 years and counting. I'm really getting sick of the amateur stuff. I'd kill for a fully professional performance - ballet, opera or theater. Unfortunately, Darwin doesn't seem like the place for that kind of thing.

Now on to the audience. Put simply, I have NEVER seen such a 'bad' audience. Frankly, babies and kids under 11 should be banned from ANY kind of theatrical performance. There were babies crying and kids throwing tantrums/talking through the whole performance. I know that "Sleeping Beauty" is a fairy tale but come on!!! You want to be with your little kid, either buy or rent the DVD and watch it at home!!!!

The adults were not any better, either. Before the performance started, there was an announcement "NO PHOTOGRAPHY". Mom, sis and I were in the dress circle and I saw at least 3 people with cameras taking photos. I am a photographer and I understand that 'no' means 'no'. I would not violate any instruction that does not permit the taking of photos. Other people should, too. Also, throughout the performance there were people standing up and leaving the auditorium - it's disrespectful both to people who want to enjoy the show AND the performers themselves. Why the bloody hell did they buy tickets to the show in the first place???

I don't know....call me old-fashioned but there is theater-going ettiquete that should NEVER be violated. You go to a theatrical performance to enjoy it - not to have it ruined by inconsiderate a$$holes and crying babies

I don't tknow what the RANT was all about but I got THIS PAGE (200) in a goggle alert all because the words Def Leppard was spelled out. If you don't want 'outsiders' to see how immature and vindictive you all are in here then take it out there and leave the goodness of Def Leppard's name in here. It was so freakin embarrassing seeing this on a freakin email!!!!
