I think most of Creed's music is a bit static. They of course have some really good stuff, no denying, but in the end too static for me. I prefer Alter Bridge! (but not Hinder Wink)

Favourite "new" albums:

Slash - Slash
Megadeth - Endgame
Europe - Last Look At Eden
John Norum - Play Yard Blues
Down 'n' Outz - My ReGeneration

Some of Creed's critics have a problem with their "religious" or "spiritual" slanted lyrics because they crossed over and became popular. When the lead singer was living the rock n roll roll lifestyle they were labled hypocrites or posers.

I bought Creed's first album when it came out and still enjoy it. I'm not bothered by any spiritual overtones in their music.

I can't really comment on Creed, as I only know one song by them. But I am never bothered by any spiritual overtones in the music I listen to...it's usually so subtle..people are going to interpret the lyrics how they want! I usually go the love route!
