Hi, everyone!

Well, with DL on a little break and a few chirping crickets on the threads as a result of that, I figured I'd post something new in regards to another tour coming up.

For those who are interested, Ozzy has just confirmed that his new CD will be out in 6 months, and that 'likely' means he'll start up his next tour right around there. The new CD is called 'Soul Sucka!'

On another note, for those who are interested, OZZY also has a new autobiography, and he's announced a few free signing dates for that in January/February. He's got 7 stops confirmed in NY, IL, and CA bookstores. It sounds like each signing is limited by number (aka get in line early!), but, if you can get through the line, the signing is free - you just need one of his books.

Yep, Ozzy's Album is complete and to be released in June.

Ozzy is also reforming the Ozzfest tour in July of 2010. 2009 was skipped, but he's supposed to have both a solo tour and the Ozzfest deal running this summer. It's my understanding that he's going to play these and then he's hitting the road for a solo tour right after that.

I picked up the new album this weekend and on first listen I like it a lot, very heavy in places and it rocks.

Ooops, it's "dangerous" when you like a supposed hard rock album already on first listen. I'll check it out on Spotify.

Hehe, but I didn't like Ozzy's new one so much at the first listen. I wonder what that means...

But we can talk about it in 3 months or something and see what the opinions are then! Wink

Opinions are just a snap shot in time, in 3 months you could love it. In 3 months I could be bored of it and hate the album. Pick it up again in a years time and it might strike a chord again.

Saw some recent clips of Ozzy performing lately, and he seems to have lost a little of his voice, but hopefully he's back in form by his solo tour. I'll still be looking forward to seeing his show. Right now, the Ozzfest shows are up, and then he's going globe hopping just a little (Japan and such...). Probably suggests a NA tour over the winter.
